Default I-140 transfered to Texas center

My I-140 was files on May 1 2007 at NSC. (Separate filing - not combined filing with I-485)

I got the following message today. The message is pretty clear. NSC has no jurisdiction over I-140s? That is a new news to me. Then why do they have the I-140 processing times at NSC?

Another thing I am curious to know is - my original I-140 receipt date is May 1 2007 where as current TSC processing time frame is Aug 15 2007. Does this mean that they will take up my case as soon as they get a chance or will they consider my receipt date as today's date and process after I retire?

Anybody had similar experience?

Dont worry, your employer state or the job site where you are employed may be under the TSC jurisdiction.

TSC will process your case based on the original RD of May 2007 and you should hear about your approval notice soon.

If you are confident your case is straight forward, dont worry too muc habout this transfer, its common practice to transfer cased from one centre to another.

Are you on EB2 or 3?
Does this have a bearing on when the I-140 is processed?
Mine was filed end of March on 2007 - no response yet.

Default Same Here

My case was transfered last Monday , the explanation was same as your case , but I beleive its a general explanation to any case transfers

My case was updated yesterday

Current Status: This case is now pending at the office to which it was transferred.

My case is EB3 and it was filed on July 5th 07 . I think I m little lucky here because NSC processing dates for EB3 is Feb 07 and TSC is AUG 07 .

I m eagerly waiting for my approval

I don't mean to scare those whose cases have been transferred, but check this
thread http://immigrationvoice.org/forum/sh...ad.php?t=18561
Seems like a transfer puts you at the end of the processing queue.
Not fair.
