Default Need husband back in the U.S

My husband was brought to the U.S. illegal since he was a kid. Went to school and never finished high school, worked in the U.S. with his real name. We have two kids and got married in Tijuana, Mexico on March of 2010. He was deported on May of 2009. When deported he was asked to volunteerly deport himself or stay in prison untill i fix him, so he volunteered. He was never given a paper stating his deportation, my husband told me that the border patrol agent let him go to Mexico so I could be able to fix him since we have kids together. Since we got married, is their any chance of fixing him? how long is the process? and were should i start from? should I get a lawyer of immigration? and will it be a high cost to do this?

Sorry for you and your family to be in such a state. I am afraid anyone here would have any concrete answers for you. this forum mainly caters to employement based visa issues. You should talk to a able immigration lawyer and explain your situation.

good luck.

Default Help

Consult a lawyer. If he was not deported, USCIS have no info about him in their file, means he is fine. You can file for him as a foreign husband. Better take a lawyer's advice.

I am not a lawyer. This is my personal opinion.
