Default Re-Entry permit

Hi All,
my brother's green card was approved recently at mumbai consulate ... his older son is pursuing medical degree in india and younger one is in college too. because of this, he wanted to apply for re-entry permit. here are some of the questions that he had
1) can he enter US with his spouse and younger son in May and then can the older on join them in june ? (in other words do they have to enter the US together or can he come first and then can others join him ?)

2) what are the risks with re-entry permits ?

3) if a green card holder stays abroad for few months every year (4 to 5 months) - will that affect his citizenship process ? also - is it risky to stay abroad for 4 months every year ..i.e. is it easy to revoke a green card ?
he would like a lawyer to represent him ... so please reply and contact me ..

Thanks

Your brother with his GC can enter, not sure about other as you did not mentioned their status.
A GC holder should not be out of US more than 180days to avoid abandoning the GC.
