He is saying for most of Indians it will be +ve.

Default Dont do that

Just go for the skin test, if it is positive, get a chest x-ray showing it is normal and you will be OK. There is no place on the form for results from a blood check... there are 2 sections: one for skin test results and another for chest x-ray results. Add anything else into the mix and you could face delays ... IMHO

MMR test and PPD test for TB are two diffrent test. You are talking about TB test. If your bllod report says that you are not vaccinated against MMR then just take MMR shots.

But in case of PPD test, if it is positive then go for x-ray. Dr may send you for further treatment if skin test reaction is > 1cm even if xray is negative.

If you are male no harm to take the test. For womens who were planning kids get blood test and if it is +ve no need to take MMR. Otheriwse she has to wait 3 ot 6 months for kids.

Usually, MMR vaccines are administered only during young age. Doctors check for the immunity against these diseases by requesting a blood test. If the blood test comes out to be positive, you are immune to these diseases and you are fine. If the blood test is negative , you are not immune and Doctor will administer these vaccines.
