Default H4 Dependent Minor Work Permit

Hi,

I am on H1b and have filed for GC which is in I40 stage. My spouse have got her H4 EAD also. Now my kid who is 8 years old has got an opportunity to appear in a educational talent TV show in national television. She requires a entertainment work permit for the same. Is there any way she can apply for EAD or temporary workpermit under any exemption? We dont need the stipend from the show but just wanted her to compete. It is so discriminating to being pulled out of the competition just because she do not have work permit. Can we approach USCIS directly for any solution?
