Default My wife's case is approved today

I just verified the online status and the case is approved.I got approved in july-07, then applied for my wife (I got married after mine was filed). I have registered to post this message so that it might help anyone who is tracking...

Details:
PD:July-04
RD:July 24th-07
RFE:July-09 on bonafide marriage & late registration of birth
Center:NSC

This actually ends my GC journey as my 9 month old was born here.

Good luck to all who are current.

Question, though, does it really take 60 days to get the card?

Decision
On October 1, 2009, we mailed you a notice that we had registered this customer's new permanent resident status. Please follow any instructions on the notice. Your new permanent resident card should be mailed within 60 days following this registration or after you complete any ADIT processing referred to in the welcome notice, whichever is later. If you move before receiving your card, please call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

During this step the formal decision (approved/denied) is written and the decision notice is mailed and/or emailed to the applicant/petitioner. You can use our current processing time to gauge when you can expect to receive a final decision.

Default Status changed.

Finallly, my online status changed from "Initial review" -> "Document production" and also got email from Senator's office that my case is approved.

I think I got it....but not 100% sure yet...no approval emails yet... or no other proof.

Thanks,
-N

http://www.uscis.gov/USCIS/New%20Str...%20Reports.pdf

How come there is pending cases in 2007, 2008 and 2009 for EB2 and EB3 India?

From the PDF I see the following

2008 - 178
2009 - 9

EB3

2007 after july fiasco - 466

My understanding is that the visa bulletin were never open for priorty dates from Aug 2007 to till date....EVER..

I may be missing something..

Default Congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow Naushit,
Enjoy greenhood..........no luck yet for my wife...But she got a call from USCIS office of Wash DC that it is the biometrics that is holding her approval...they are issuing a biometrics appointment....I told so far she had been issued Biometrics appointment thrice and we have not received anything.

Also if I got approved without biom availability how come she is not....she is giving crap that our job is approving the primary applicant....I told her that none of my friends have got approval just for the principal they all got approved together.

I told her Biom does not hold approval ...she was adamant we can't approve her w/o that.

I think it is because of cross chargeability. If your spouse's country of birth is not India then you can get charged to your spouses birth country. And therefore can apply for 485 when your spouse's PD is current even when your PD is not current.
