Default Self-sponsoring J-1 waiver (physician, private-practice)

I just read about this option on an immigration law firm website. Not much information about this is found online. Is this a viable choice for a primary care physician?

Choose an underserved area.
Set up a private practice.
File for J-1 waiver, self-sponsored H1B.
File for NIW.

Possible?

Default Possible

Martin , I believe it is possible to set up a practice and people have done it. However there may be details here that you should look into before considering it. Re your other question, I think you may be correct that a 5 year contract is not needed when you begin. There are some attorneys that specifically deal with physician cases a lot, you may want to get an initial consult with one of them.
