Default GC for ill parent

My mother is in US on a B1/B2 for medical treatment of a severe neurological disease.
She is totally disabled, non-communicative ( no speech) , and not very alert.

As a US citizen , I wish to file an Immediate relative immigrant petition for her in the US.

Will there be problems in her green card process because of her medical condition?

Sorry to hear about your mom. Please consult an attorney if you can file a I-130 & 485 (Adjustment of Status) based on the visa bulletin. USCIS will definitely request Medical Examination before processing her Green Card.

rayof light

Thanks but, I already know I can file I-130 + I-485.
Because Immediate relative petitions are always current.
My query is about she not being able to sign the application or respond to questions.

Any attorney here, I will appreciate your reply.
