Default Changing jobs-confused!

We have EAD and currently my spouse is working for a fortune 500 company..good job, stability etc.
Since I will be moving to another city for higher studies..spouse is planning to move to be with family.
Now with all the prbs associated with EAD( renewal taking a lot of time) and the recession..we r wondering whether he should shift or not.
He has attended an interview and looks like he'll be getting an offer soon...its a small company and has its pros and cons.
What is the best way..doing a H1B transfer or EAD. H1B transfer would be the best in my opinion but since the company is small we dont know if they will agree to it...EAD will work well for the company since they wont have to do anything..but what if the renewal doesnt come thro...spouse has to quit job and get rehired which will be a pain and what will happen to my studies..I will have to stop going to school in the renewal period..that will seriously affect my studies! So we r really confused on what to do..one hand its being with family and on the other hand..all this immigration prbs, recession and stability is bothering us.
Anyone in this situation pls lemme know what worked for u....esp those who've used EAD....
Thanks a lot!!

There are lot of things than we can forsee using AC21. be prepared for all pros and cons.
personally going through AC21, I would advice use h1b. felling little bit secure rather than using EAD.

I hope every one should enjoy AC21 and use EAD with no problems, but you know this is immigration, we cannot take risk.

Goopd luck

bombay will become famous soon enough
Default my 2 cents

my lawyer told me to do H transfer. If the company has any problems then we will go for AC-21
