Exclamation IEEE-USA supports EB Immigration

We know IEEE-USA's stance is pro EB-Immigration, and Anti-H1B

IEEE-USA President, in "New England High-Tech Journal," Says Permanent Immigration Better for U.S. Work Force than Expanding H-1B Program

http://www.ieeeusa.org/communication...a-06-05-06.asp

To mitigate the effect of H1B (I personally don't believe there is any...but H1regulations can be tightened to allay skeptics concerns), legislators ought to expand EB immigration.

I'm sure once the SKIL Bill is introduced FAIR, NumbersUSA, Cis, Programmer's Guild, and their restrictionist cronies will beat the drums of the same old song "immigrants taking american jobs away and lowering wages". But frankly these organizations, by refusing to even support a modicum of skilled legal immigration, have lost all credibility as objective players in the broader immigration debate. They are one track minds.

But IEEE-USA as a professional organization has more credibility. Therefore these findings are important.
