Default Biometrics appointment.

I went to biometrics appointment this morning, and they took only Pointing finger. I thought it would be all ten fingers, isnt it?

Pointing or index finger is the same.

So they only took fingerprint of your pointing finger or index finger again?

I thought in few cases they were reusing fingerprints from EAD biometrics appointment as needed. But in your case its the same.

no no I know Pointing and Index finger are both same.

My question is this is my first Biometrics appt (even though I applied I-485 as part July/Aug 2007 filers) but they just took the Index finger alone, when I asked the local office they told me according the receipt code its just the Index finger.

Now I am confused, do I need to call USCIS again ?

On a lighter note:
this is the reason, since the wait time for GC is almost 10 years, they want you to go every year and give finger prints for one finger so finally 10 years = 10 fingers.
