I think the FOIA data should also include number of people who filed from EB3 to EB2. Because the data becomes unstable without this information. It may also be creating incorrect assumptions when creating a bulletin date. It looks like a lot of old timer EB3 applicants may have converted to EB2. We are scheduling a meeting with DHS in the next few days and will raise a question on the unpredictability of visa bulletins.

This whole system is a shame on everyone. The immigrants and country deserve better.
Those 2000 PD are labor substitution cases I feels so. Labor substitution was used like a time
machine to go back in time and apply for GC.

There are 3 different June visa bulleting threads right now. Could one of the admins be nice enough to merge it all in to one so we don't have to shift through three thread.

Thanks in advance.

FOIA is the way to go folks. Its not about EB2 or EB3 anymore. Its about collective and united action. I think for all those people who are still making predictions EB2 will be current for India this year - Good Luck.. and EB3 we can forget for a while. Now for the pragmatic people out there its time to roll up your sleeves and get to work. Support IV in its efforts let those small amounts of donation come through.

Now is the time to highlight to those folks who have been saying there is not much of a backlog for legal immigration about the ground realities. Let the calls, letters to the senators flow. Make it heard in the media and put the pressure on the 'Agency' to fix the system. At the end of the day however it all boils down to the number of visas available so please also extend your support to the 'Recapture efforts'.

peace
- cheers
kris

You are right. I had never seen anything sensible from USCIS specially when it comes to Visa bulletins.

Intizaar aur sahi....... A never ending wait.

I sometime get amazed with people telling in different threads that they see light at the end of the tunnel. But why can't I see it.

Default Visa Bulletin

After seeing visa bulletins itís clearly says we should fight all together. We should focus on IV action items.

Default Bad news for EB2-I!!!

Jan 1, 2000 essentially means all cases applied till end of 1999. So here we are in the 21st century and USCIS is processing applicants from the 20th century!!! Maybe we should highlight this when campaigning/lobbying.

The light at the end of the tunnel is that of an oncoming train

and the trains called the USCIS express , becoz the only time they speed up is to mow us down

Default Lets be unite and educate more and more lawmaker and white house

Its time to be unite and educated our beloved lawmakers. So many legal / illegal immigration bills are introduce in congress. Not a single bill for Eb folks. Only enforcement.

Also one more sound thought from me. Never keep hope on Eb2 moveing forward with Spill over. CHINA is ahead of us. They finds loophole or shortcut in system first then india starts.

I think CHINA had more F1 visas earliar then CHINA was sending more H1b. CHINA was as equal as india in GC. now they have less demand in Eb2 and Eb3 because more and more people go for PHD. so many China people in queue to get their Phd and they will be out in coming years. So Eb1 will get backlogged for them and they will consume all numbers from Eb1. I think after 2 years there will not be single spill over for india...People from 2004 and few from 2005 will be lucky to get gc in coming 2 years. People from 2006 onwards should not keep any hope other than 3000 visa per year. given that Eb2 2006 will take 7 year to clear.

So hold it if u can or work with IV to recapture / exempt STEM / and remove counrty quota.
