We got this @ 9:45 last night

Decision

On July 19, 2011, we mailed you a notice that we had registered this customer's new permanent resident status. Please follow any instructions on the notice. Your new permanent resident card should be mailed within 60 days following this registration or after you complete any ADIT processing referred to in the welcome notice, whichever is later. If you move before receiving your card, please call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

During this step the formal decision (approved/denied) is written and the decision notice is mailed and/or emailed to the applicant/petitioner. You can use our current processing time to gauge when you can expect to receive a final decision.

What is the difference between decision and post decision activity.

For some they got a mail post decision activity.

To my curiosity, I called customer support and they read the same thing and then I asked to connect me to level 2. Level 2 support told me that it is under initial review and system might not be updated with new status.

I am confused now.

Default Was your case transferred to TSC from CSC?

Our case was filed to TSC, transferred to CSC for processing and then transferred back to TSC after receipt was issued. TSC then issued FPs for us and I read somewhere that these kind of cases are handled differently than regular TSC cases.

Your case is similar to mine. If your receipt # starts with WAC , you probably will not get a CPO email. There are people in similar situation who are waiting for months to receive their cards.

Please post further updates.

I called NCSC and spoke to Level 2 rep and learnt that the approval is not yet reflected in their system - only thing to do now is to wait it out. No cards for months sounds bad - do you know if they took INFOPASS appointments and got their passports stamped with immigration visa?

Default Finally Greened

Received CPO mails for me and my wife yesterday evening. I had opened SR on 07/08. No response on the SR yet, but seems that is what prompted the appproval. Good luck to all still waiting and hope they recieve their approvals soon.

When called Level 2 customer support, they told me the same, that the new status that shows online on my case is not updated yet in their system.

Seems like a similar pattern where different emails are being sent out at different times.

Either ways I am not too worried. I havent opened a SR or called USCIS or anything else.. patiently waiting it out
