Question question on employement letters

Hello all,

Are the actual employment letters sent to USCIS when lawyers file green card or the dates and description/duties are only filled in ETA 9089 (labor form)? The reason I ask is that when I am applying my EB 2 and realized some dates of past employment ( one employer) i sent were incorrect from last time I applied EB3 and this time I want to send corrected dates in new letter from same employer. Do you see any potential problems with this ? Please suggest.
