Default 130 current 485 pending from employer

MY SISTER FILLED I130 FOR ME IN AUGUST 13 2002 THAT CASE WILL BE CURRENT STARTING JUNE 2015 VISA BULLETIN

I HAD filled 485 in july 2007 through my employer once I140 was approved having priority date of AUGUST 13 2004 (this case is still pending date is not current)

What is the best and fastest way to get Green card

1) should i file for a new 485 on basis of approved I 130 and current priority date or should i request USCIS to process 485 on basis of i130 that is getting current next month in june

One can only adjust status one time. So you do not need to file I-485 again. The best course in my opinion is to consult a lawyer and change the basis of the I-485 from I-140 to I-130 if possible.

Pay the one time fees. It is worth it.

It is a GOOD problem to have but it is beyond the scope of this forum to provide legal advice. I suggest that you consult a lawyer.
