dream act for f1 students

How likely is it that a f1 student can benefit from the dream act assuming all other requirements are met? Also is there any recourse for a denied application under the dream act if it does pass?

You need to be a illegal to benefit...since you are in f1 status, you wont get anything

If the DREAM Act does pass, I was thinking of applying for the nonimmigrant conditional status and when my application gets denied, hire a lawyer and appeal the decision. There has to be some means of challenging the absurdity of denial based solely on the fact that one is here legally instead of undocumented - can anyone speak to this?

this is exactly the reason why this dream act is so unfair.

It punishes those who are here legally in school and rewards those who are here illegally. Go figure.
