Hello All,

My advance parole expires in October 2012 and I am planning on traveling to India before that. My I-485 is pending and I don't have a valid visa on my passport. I have already used AC-21.

Do you think I will have any issues during re-entry with only one month left on my advance parole?

Thanks

You should not have any problem, I had reentered a day before my AP expiry date and there was no problem as such..

Same with me I re-entered just the day before it expires on Dec 16, 2011. Hope this helps.

I entered in Oct last year 14 days prior to expiry of AP. No issues. The general advice is that you should not plan your return date too close to the expiration, in case you need to postpone your return due to unforeseen circumstances. I had decided that 14 days was a good margin for me. Technically, you can enter any day prior to the expiration...even just a day before (as one of the other posters did).

My AP expires on Sept 15. I am travelling and will be out of the country for 2 weeks in August. Is it OK to apply my next AP now or better to apply after my return.
I saw somewhere if an AP is approved while you are out of Country it is not Valid ??
Can someone clarify.
thanks,

I went to India on May 14th and came back on May 31st. My current AP was about to expire on June 14th 2012. No questions asked. It was my second trip within span of 6 weeks.

I think you should be fine.

Why do you want to take a chance? You can apply immediately after you come back.
