View Full Version : Priority date current: wage little less than prevailing wage

I am very close to my PD in EB2 category. As of today, my salary is less than my prevailing wage by about 1,300$ .

While filing my PERM

"As you know, the wage included in the attached Job Notice is higher than your current wage. According to U.S. immigration law, the wage listed on the Job Notice must be paid in the future upon approval of your adjustment of status application. Because of this, <companyname> has agreed to move forward with your case and will support the filing of the labor certification application and the I-140 petition. <companyname>will not go forward with the final stage of the permanent residence process (adjustment of status) until you are receiving the wage listed on the Job Notice."

I am getting married next month. Question is - will me and my wife be eligible for EAD card if the PD is current, but my wage is still less than the prevailing wage (by about 1 % or 2% )
