I hear if Premium is applied for 140 then USCIS almost always issues RFEs?

Any opinion from forum members?

TIA.

those who got approval in 2 or 6 days, how you came to know about the approval? is it by approval noticevia post or email or checking thru receipt notice.

My question is how long it takes to get the receipt number when I140 is filed premium? one could not file G1145 . Does USCIS send email with the approval or receipt ?

I did the premium I-140 EB2 with the same employer. Got the approval in 2 days. To answer your question it was after the fact that I realised that my Notice and Approval period was just one day apart.

We received the Approval and Notice receipt on the same day in Postal Mail.

I think it has to be forwarded to TSC or NSC from the lockboxes, so it may take some time. Also the premium process 14 day timeline starts from the Notice date, right ?

(Is it 14 days or 10 business days for premium process)?

I wouldn't be surprised with this at all. Talking to an experienced attorney, she mentioned that the officer will issue an RFE just because they have been sitting on the file for too long and for PP, they need to stick to the SLA of 15 days.

my wife's F1 COS had no update for 6 months and when we called once the processing time had passed, we got an RFE. Most hilarious RFE ever - they said we have not shown enough money. We had showed almost twice the requrment in our personal Bank of America here (cash$$$) but they didn't see it..ROFL.

I sent the same doc again after RFE and got approval:D

some officer trying to save his arse for someting they messed up. good luck to you.
