Hello,

My h1b is expiring in 2 days and I got EAD CPO mail on 1/9 but I hv not received physical card yet. If I don't receive my card within 2 days, should I stop working ? or is it ok to work because my card prod was ordered and considered approved. Can you pls help. Thanks.

Its okay to work. Keep the statement from USCIS that has the EAD approval date mentioned.

You will get the card in a day or two, so don't panic. I would rather wait for the card to arrive to work - usually HR can wait for 72 hours (ie you can buy 72 hours - once again that depends on policy of the company)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/I-9_(form) - this wikipedia link states that you have 3 days to verify employment. Talk to ur HR about your situation - they will give you time. If 3 days elapsed - and you did not get card - then consult a lawyer.

Hi Folks!!

My husband's I 140 (EB2) pending in TSC from Nov 2007. The processing times for TSC shows as Jan 2008. My lawyer called the USCIS and they gave a case # asking us to contact them after 45 days if it is not cleared by then. Any idea what to do next?

Thanks in Advance,

Priority Date : Sep 2003(EB2)
