View Full Version : Contacting help desk for EB2 PERM labor status check

My employer has filed my EB2 PERM Labor on Nov 24th, 2010 and still its pending. We did not hear anything from DOL yet. My employer has responded for the sponsorship verification email from the DOL in first week itself. Now when I check the DOL portal, its showing that they are processing April 2011 cases. My question is now if I contact DOL for my Labor status, do they issue Audit on my case? What are the chances of getting audited if I contact help desk for the status check? My employer's attorney is saying that she got audit on all the cases for which she contacted DOL for status check. Is it true? Please suggest!

I am not sure about the audit. But I think any SR for PERM can only be raised by the attorney or your employer
