Do you know for a fact that no I-485 can be approved if fingerprinting is older than 1 Year. I had my last FP on 11/07/2007. I think I read somewhere that USCIS will consider Fingeprints up to 15-18 months as valid due to the July 07 fiasco. Anybody with 1Year+ old FP got approved?

AFAIK, the age of paper based finger prints are 15 months (it expires). I think, same is not true with optical scanned image (it does not expire).

Not yet heard any one getting 2nd FP notice for I485 after optical scanning.

You I-485 will be in a status of approved with fingerprinting pending. Then they will send you a notice to get your fingerprinting done.
