Hello members from NORTH CALIFORNIA,

We are in the last few weeks of this campaign, but with your help so far, we have mailed over 500 letters already. Our new target is another 1000, and we know we can make it!

Now, we really need people to get out of the closets and help in absolutely any way you can!

Please submit your vote, then follow through with action, the best way to do that is PM me or just post a message on the NorCal yahoogroup!

P.S. Some of the older poll options have been removed... e.g. no need to supply envelopes, instead just supply stamps or sponsor 100 letters.... we've got 300+ empty envelopes.... we need letters and stamps!

Thank you!

If we don't get more participation than we must also understand that this campaign can't be a success, piggy backing on the backs of few extremely dedicated volunteers.

If we aren't successful with our admin fix letter campaign than we can say goodbye to any substantial admin fix relief this year. There is a strong possibility regarding Admix fix reliefs and we have seen some of the results already, if we don't maintain momentum and get satisfied by the tactical changes e.g July visa reversal, FBI name check relief etc we will always be in a "limbo" of uncertainty. That uncertainty is going to be compounded by the continuing economic uncertainty. If we don't take action now it might be too late when that adverse economic tsunami starts to innundiate our professional life in a critical manner.

Consider this an advance Tsunami warning. Act now! PM me your contact information to become part of this effort.

Absolutely... and great to you have you on board this ship.

PEOPLE, let's make it big.... get out of your closets and submit your votes!

P.S. It is more than okay to get letters from ANYONE who is legally present in the US . Therefore, okay to approach attorneys, co-workers, neighbors, friends, neighbors who you once ignored but want a chance to make friends;) etc etc

Just skimmed through the recent messages on our yahoogroup.

Looks like 6 people have volunteered for the drive on the weekend, which of course includes me & gsc999

Given 6 volunteers, we should be able to cover 3 high traffic spots, but if we have more volunteers, we can cover upto 5 spots... now this would be something to boast about for a state chapter as thick as NORCAL!

This is your chance to do something good for yourself + this community... please consider giving 2 hours of your precious "TBS Superstation" time this weekend to this campaign!!!

Thanks in advance!

I haven't heard from everyone but we probably got about 100-150 today in NorCal. Yesterday's drive was washed out by thunderstorms.

Waiting for more details from volunteers in Sunnyvale Cash n carry + Sunnyvale temple.

Collected 30 in Fremont + 2 from my personal friends. Takes me to 236. Would have liked to pass 300, but I will have to wait until the next weekend now!

Digital2K and Kushal went on the rampage today at the temple and report 215 letters
APChinta + Sroyc got 61 outside a grocer in Sunnyvale

As said, gsc999 + I got 30 outside grocers in Fremont- where we had a rather low turnout of shoppers as compared to the last few weekends.

Thus our tally this weekend is 306, this is our best ever!

Kushal, D2K, Apchinta, sroys:
Kudos to you guys, you helped us to 306 on a weekend which was mostly washed out by thunderstorms.

Hi there folks!

I have a batch of almost 30 letters to send to NORCAL (already included in my current total), will send them out Friday/Saturday, is this still okay? Funds are running a little low, otherwise I would have eagerly sent them all out from here :) Let me know if you still have enough stamps at NORCAL to send. I can do the photocopying my end for immigration voice's copy, if that helps, let me know! Thanks :)

Actually I am sure we all have made several new friends in the process.
For me, the list includes neighbors who I didn't know work 2 blocks away, people from my hometown, my ex-neighbors who had left without leaving their whereabouts etc etc!

(And yes, a guy who began with signing the letter for IV, then called back to discuss Amway.. oh no! But that's a small price to pay:)

you, needhelp and texanmom sent to rkotamurthy last week. I am not done with the first batch of of letters that I received from three of you. I need to sprint and catch up (never did a sprinty marathon):D. I will get there. I am sure your second shipment was picked up but it did not reach me yet. We are like 3 people picking up letters, sorting and entering them into a spreadsheet. We need to recruit more for this activity. I should admit some Individual letters that have been mailed by IV'ans across the country are really good and they did show the struggle legal immigrants go through. you can mail your last shipment directly to me so that we dont lose time in going to the post office, delivering shipments to individuals to sort etc. Please PM me if you can do that
