I filed AP application on July 2 and now I receive my approved AP. However, on both pages the Date Issued is November 21, 2010, and expiry date is November 20, 2011. Is it an error? Should I call USCIS to correct it?

My current AP expires on Oct. 20.

Yes. Inform to the service center. They will issue SR to correct the mistake and will send you new AP.

If it is a AP renewal, it may not be a mistake.... Because they are giving APs and EADs from the date of expiry of the previous AP/EAD. (like H1B)

I got my new EAD approved on Aug 11th, but it's validity is from Aug 9th (my previous EAD expired on Aug 8th) , On the same day they renewed by AP as well, valid from Oct 15 2010.

Its upto you buddy i see they gave you ap for an year just the start date is after one month. there is nothing wrong as such and if you dont want to use ap till nov 20th then you can keep this AP but if you indeed want to see the start date from current date you can open the SR as advised.

its your call.... Good luck!!!

The issue is I am currently outside USA. If I inform them and they send me a new AP, when is the approval date of new AP? If they use a new date as approval date, do I have to be physically in USA on the approval date?
