Hi all, I am trying to file EB-2 NIW 1-140 application and would appreciate your response on my chances. Find below my detail information:

Currently a part-time Ph.d student in Mathematics
Research on Perturbation(Solly on teaching)
Teacher license from three different states (Mathematics Endorsement)
Adjunct mathematics Professor at a University
Adjunct mathematics Professor at two community Colleges
Currently writing mathematics Book
1 Poster presentation at Mathematics conference
1 mathematics presentation at a conference
Teaching Assistant with tuition waiver and stipend(2004-2006)
Had scholarship last summer
No publication or Articles
Will be able to get 6 rec letters
Will appreciate your response

Ya. This does not seem promising to me, either.
Maybe a super skillful lawyer can make a magnificent petition letter ad qualify you.
Otherwise, wait a little bit longer.

I think being a maths expert you would certainly be an asset to this society which is pretty weak in math skills. However, our beloved USCIS requires lot more than what you have listed here to qualify for a NIW. Contact some attorneys and see if they can work something out but there are folks who would be willing to file and take your fee but there is no gurantee.

In the absence of strong publishing/citations record, the overall impact of your work is what matters. The proposed benefit also has to be national in scope. Have you developed any product in your field that has benefited the community on a national scale? Have you published a book? Have you contributed/wrote chapters in already published book? Are there users of your product that would provide a letter of recommendation?
