from the article:
"Redesigning the Green Card is a major achievement for USCIS"

yikes! we are in trouble, if just painting a card green is a 'major achievement'. how are they going to find the energy to approve all the backlogged cases?

funny thing is that the country of origin on the green card on that link is Utopia. If someone really lived in Utopia, i dont see why that person would want to immigrate anywhere!! maybe they think US is better than utopia!! ha!

I am happy even if they send me the old one :)

There's a subliminal message hidden in the prototype card.
It says either you should be from 'Utopia' or you should be born before 01 JAN 1920 - to get the card...

also, wonder what skin-care products the person in that sample card uses. She looks more 27 years, then the 87 years old the card claims (DOB:1920, resident-since: 2007). :)

Did someone notice that date of residency and expiry is same. We got some real smart architects working for USCIS :-)

Finally USCIS gives us a formula -- if you are born before 1920, you get a GC by 2007 . throw out all those predictions and trackers, apply this formula and find when you will get your GC ... well they will probably put it on your grave on one of your death anniversary

Just a warning to all those who receive this card. Make sure to either leave it in the government supplied case or purchase a better one for it. For security purposes the card should always be protected. It is unlikely yet extremely possible that your card could be 'skimmed,' or wirelessly accessed by an RFID reading device. Be on the safe side and keep your precious green card protected!
